All the items found at Artworks 13 are made with care and great attention to detail, using only natural gemstone beads, stones and wood. The artist believes that manufactured products do not have the same feel, power or beauty as the "true" ones. I feel my creations as much as I form them. There are a lot of jewelry items on the market that use a heat process or similar means to make a very reasonable facsimile. By look alone it is difficult to tell the difference. The difference is in the feel, the history and life of the stone. It is this life force, coupled with the touch of the artist that makes them so alluring.
